Choosing a respectful university is a rather complicated task, that’s why if you want to make a right choice, you need to consider a lot of different factors.   1. University College London (UCL)

This university occupies the seventh position this year. UCL is an institution which provides a wide range of subjects (its strong point compared with Imperial), besides it may found as the multicultural university, because more than one third of the students staff is people who lived abroad.

It’s a very important fact that the amount of postgraduate students is also pretty high (close to 52%). The main location of University College London is in the center of the capital, near the British Library and other well-known universities.

It is a science and technology orientated institution which takes the ninth and has leading positions in natural sciences and engineering. Imperial boasts an excellent school of business and a highly-developed medical faculty (almost the biggest in the country).

The hallmark of that institution belongs to a narrow specialization in the social disciplines, and it also distinguishes LSE from other UK’s higher education institutions. LSE occupies the thirty-seventh position.

  1. Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL)

This year the institution has ranked one hundred twenty-third. This year the School of Oriental and African Studies has improved its world position to two hundred fifty-second in 2016-2017.  The main focus of SOAS belongs to studying languages and cultures of the peoples that live in the Near and Middle East, Asia and Africa, that’s why it is a one of the kind institution with such a narrow specialization in this field around Europe.

SOAS is based in the Bloomsbury area, famous for picturesque green areas and its history of the Bloomsbury group. In 2016 SOAS celebrates its 100th anniversary of the foundation.

  1. Birkbeck College, University of London

It has the two hundred eightieth position. Located in the Bloomsbury area, the college provides full-lengths degree programs throughout courses in the evening. At the same time people who are enrolled in such programs can feel the benefits of daytime study.

Flexible schedules of Birkbeck are aimed to let people complete their day job and then attend classes. That’s why the major part of undergraduates chooses to study half-time.

It is called the one more highly ranked university with the three hundred fourteenth position. The name of its can show what close relationships the educational institution has with ‘The City’ – a famous financial district in old and modern London.

Moreover applicants can enroll for many other programs, e.g. social sciences, business and art, computer sciences, law and even sport.

Approximately 12,700 students who are originally from about 110 countries attend classes in Uxbridge, West London. Dormitories, libraries, restaurants, parks, sport center and other necessary things may be found by students on the territory of the campus. The 50th anniversary of Brunel University is celebrated this year.
